Raffle!
Participate in the raffle! Drawing to be held at the Ramble RoundUP at 274 North Winooski Avenue at approximately 7pm, July 31st, 2010. You do not have to be present to win. You can purchase tickets in advance as detailed below or at the Ramble t-shirt table the day of.
Honoring Melissa Parker
Members of the Burlington School Board and Administration have purchased 4
Red Sox tickets for the Sunday, August 22nd afternoon game through Milne
Travel, which also includes transportation to and from Fenway Park. This
package worth $580 will be raffled off at the O.N.E. Ramble on July 31st,
2010. 100% of all funds raised will go into a college fund for Dusty, Jordan,
and Glenna Parker. Tickets will be sold at $10 a piece or 6 for $50.

Some of you may remember that Melissa Parker, Sustainability Academy
school foodservice staff member and President of the PTO, died suddenly and
unexpectedly last October, sending shock waves through the ONE community,
Burlington, and beyond. To add to this tragedy, the school district was working
on offering life insurance policies to all foodservice personnel, and yet
Melissa died just days before her policy could be activated. Because of
these unfortunate circumstances, 100% of all funds raised will help support
the Parker kids’ college education.
The tickets come with full weather cancellation protection, which means
that if the game is rained out, the owner of the tickets would be offered the
option of going to another 2010 Red Sox game or on another Milne Travel
bus tour of equal value. Raffle tickets will be sold through June and July.

present at the raffle drawing to win.
Melissa was a huge Red Sox fan so we are happy to offer this raffle to
